FOURS is an effort to re-establish an honest, intimate relationship between the self and an object. We focus on chairs because we believe they have a special ability to speak to our inner nature. We see them as extensions of our body into space -- little creatures that make us feel at home.

Sourced from auctions and thrift stores and with no known makers, they are intentionally devoid of pretense, reputation or social currency. We refer to them by what they would say, if they were a person. They are chairs for your pleasure alone.
